Hello There!
Hello! I’m very glad you decided to stop by my website and have a browse! My name is Arthur Janes and I am a professional guitarist and tutor. I’ve been playing the guitar for many years. All the way from being a young starry eyed adolescent drawn by the solos of slash and the shredding of Eddie Van Halen, right the way through to adulthood!
It has been a constant source of amazement to me and a continual learning curve; constantly alternating from steeper than ever, to being shown tricks so obvious I now kick myself.
It’s true that Learning the guitar, bass or ukelele takes time dedication and passion. But it also takes knowing how to play the thing in the first place!
For that reason I specialise in learners all across the ability spectrum, from beginners to advanced. I can’t put the work in for you, but I can show you what and how to practice to make you the musician you can become!
A little about me..

I’ve been teaching guitar and bass for around 3 years, but have been playing for much longer. So far. I’ve tutored everyone, from absolute beginners, all the way through to intermediate and advanced. I currently work at a number of reputable tuition companies, as a professional teacher, delivering high quality lessons.

I am a professional guitarist and musician. I’ve been playing for 10 years, and in that time have had the privilege to be part of a range of different ensembles, and groups. I have played in theatre pits in professional productions, been in session bands with drag queens and contributed many years of my life to my own musical development and passion.

I have a grade 8 qualification in electric guitar, and am up to date with. all safeguarding training. I Have an enhanced DBS and have also undergone anti-terrorist courses. Feel free to request conformation of my credentials.
